Country and Funk Artists Added to SUNY Canton Spring Concert Lineup
Canton, NY (03/18/2025) — The SUNY Canton College Activities Board has announced two opening acts for their spring concert featuring Canadian rapper and viral phenom bbno$ (baby no money).
Country music star Cooper Greer and funk and soul band West End Blend will perform at the Roos House Convocation, Athletic and Recreation Center Saturday, March 29. Advance tickets are $40 for the general public and $20 for students and alumni. More information and online purchase instructions are at https://www.canton.edu/tix/.
The show begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets will be available at the event for students, alumni and community members for $60.
Cooper Greer
Country music singer-songwriter Cooper Greer's singles have nearly one million streams, and his latest music video premiered on the Country Music Television network. His songs range from high energy, rocking sing-alongs like his latest single "We All Drink Beer" to heartfelt ballads like "Thinkin Bout it." His 2023 tour includes performances with Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Maddie & Tae, and Scotty McCreery. He was nominated for the 2023 International Singer-Songwriters Association awards for Male Vocalist, Entertainer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Male Rising Artist.
West End Blend
The Connecticut-based band has been playing their version of funk and soul in venues all over the Northeast and beyond. The band pays homage to classic throwback sounds while adding their own distinct vibe and flair with powerful vocals, two guitars, a two-piece horn section, bass, keyboards and drums.
