SUNY Canton to Host Hockey Reunion Weekend Nov. 14 and 15
Canton, NY (11/07/2025) — SUNY Canton is excited to welcome its alumni back to campus when it hosts Hockey Reunion Weekend on Nov. 14 and 15 with four women's and men's hockey games over two days at the Terry Martin Ice Arena in Roos House. The school is encouraging all alumni, including local alumni, to attend the festivities throughout the weekend.
The weekend will kick off with the women's hockey team hosting Morrisville on Friday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. Following the women's game, a postgame autograph party will be held in the Roos House Mezzanine, geared towards younger players and teams. The night concludes with the men's hockey team squaring off with rival Potsdam at 7 p.m.
"Saturday, November 15, is Alumni Night, and the college is calling on all alumni to help pack the stands," Jamie L. Burgess, Senior Director of Alumni Engagement, said. The women's team hosts SUNYAC foe Cortland at 3 p.m., followed by the men's team facing Hamilton at 7 p.m. "The SUNY Canton Alumni and Advancement team hopes to fill the rink with Canton pride and show the teams the incredible support of our alumni and local community."
Both Saturday-only and weekend VIP passes are available that include light appetizers and beverages. The schedule of events for the entire weekend is available online.
