Dowling Tabbed USCAA First Team All American & Cordero Named to All-Academic Team

After a phenomenal season Shannon Dowling (Oneida, NY) was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) First Team All-American, as announced on Monday.

Dowling was an offensive workhorse all season leading the Roos in a number of statistical categories including: batting average (.392), hits (29), doubles (7), triples (2), home runs (2), RBIs (20), total bases (46), slugging percentage (.622) and on-base percentage (.451). Defensively she had 61 put outs and 20 assists with a .953 fielding percentage.

USCAA Release

Sharon Cordero (Goshen, NY) earned a spot on the USCAA All-Academic Team for being an upperclassman and maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better.
