Pamela Phillips of Monroe Named to SUNY Canton Dean's List

SUNY Canton recently recognized students who excelled academically during the Fall 2012 semester.

Pamela Phillips a SUNY Canton Management major from Monroe, NY (10949) received Dean's List honors. Phillips is a 1989 graduate of North Rockland High School.

"The College's deans and I are very proud of these students," said Interim SUNY Canton President Carli C. Schiffner. "They are demonstrating commitment to their education and it is my great pleasure to congratulate them on their success."

To receive Dean's List honors, full-time students must receive a GPA of 3.25. Part-Time Honors are awarded to students earning at least a 3.25 GPA on six to 11 credit hours.

SUNY Canton offers a variety of career-driven bachelor's degrees in addition to its associate and certificate programs. In the past year, the College added two new bachelor's degrees and expanded its facilities with a new athletic center, nicknamed Roos House, and the Grasse River Suites Residence Hall. The College's faculty members are noted for their professional real-world experience in addition to their academic credentials. SUNY Canton OnLine offers flexible and convenient online courses and programs. The College's 14 athletic teams compete as provisional members of the NCAA Division III as well as the USCAA.
