Many of these students have overcome great obstacles in the path to earning their degree, and have shown tremendous perseverance and determination in continuing to pursue advanced learning. Students are selected for one or more of several award categories, including the Heritage Award, Pillars of Character Award, Leaders of Tomorrow Award, and the Humanitarian Award, among others.
